This painting Autumn Fields 1 is a painting I created on top of an older, black and white tree painting. In some areas of the paiting parts of the older underlying painting are shining through. They create that really interesting layers in the artwork. I don't waste any paint or canvases and I love the fact that the older painting is living forever in the new one.
