2023This painting Autumn Fields 1 is a painting I created on top of an older, black and white tree painting. In some areas of the paiting parts of the older underlying painting are shining through. They create that really interesting layers in the artwork. I don't waste any paint or canvases and I love the fact that the older painting is living forever in the new one.

I created this painting over an old painting I created some years ago and didn't like anymore. It was a very colorful painting, and I added black and white paint over it, then added some interesting marks and leaving some space for the underlying painting to show through at some paintings.
I already fell in love with this painting after the first white and black layers…..and I am absolutely crazy about the end result ?
